1. Services Overview

Resumella provides professional and holistic career path planning and development, and job search strategy services including resume writing, LinkedIn optimisation, interview preparation, job sourcing, and recruiter outreach. All deliverables are customised to the client’s needs based on the information provided in the discovery call, mapping call, and following meetings.

By using our products and services you agree to the following terms of service and use.

2. Client Responsibilities

• Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their career history, skills, personal strengths, preferences, and qualifications to ensure high quality and relevance of the services provided.

• Any delay in providing required information, revision requests, or feedback, may affect turnaround time.

3. Payment Terms

• Full payment is required upfront for all services unless otherwise agreed upon.

• All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice.

• Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, as services are customised and involve significant time and effort.

4. Revisions

• Resumella offers up to 2 revisions for resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles to ensure client satisfaction. Revision requests are to be provided within 7 business days of receipt of the initial draft/document, unless agreed otherwise, or may be delayed due to unique personal circumstances.  Once the client has accepted the  final version (of any document), any additional revisions thereafter may incur extra fees, unless agreed otherwise. 

5. Delivery Timelines

• Standard turnaround times for initial drafts are 5-7 business days from the initial career mapping meeting (not including Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays). If delays are to be expected by Aviv/Resumella due to sickness/days off/holidays/or any personal circumstance, this will be communicated with the client. Expedited services are available for an additional fee.

Timelines are dependent on the client providing the requested information promptly.

6. Use of Services

• Deliverables provided by Resumella are intended for personal use only and may not be resold, distributed, or shared without permission.

• Resumella does not guarantee job placement, as hiring decisions are beyond our control. Services are designed to help you in your career decisions, and maximise your odds of securing interviews, passing interviews and getting hired.

7. Confidentiality

• Resumella respects client confidentiality and will not share any personal or career-related information without consent.

• LinkedIn profile optimisation will be delivered via a shared Google Document with detailed instructions for the client on uploading the content into the relevant fields. In the event that a client wishes to have his/her LinkedIn profile edited by Resumella, this will be done for an additional fee. Clients are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials for LinkedIn and other platforms in the event that they choose to provide these with us  for service delivery. It is recommended to change any password shared with resumella once the service term has ended.

8. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Resumella may use trusted AI-powered tools as part of the service delivery process. These tools may assist with tasks such as researching companies or industries, supporting idea generation, or improving clarity, structure, grammar, or spelling in written materials.

• All AI-assisted outputs are reviewed, edited, refined, and finalised by Resumella, and AI tools do not replace the professional judgement, expertise, or personalised methodology applied to each client project.

• While reasonable steps are taken to verify the accuracy of information produced with the support of AI tools, such tools may occasionally generate incorrect or incomplete results. Clients acknowledge that final deliverables reflect a combination of professional expertise and supervised AI assistance.

• Resumella takes care to protect client confidentiality and avoids inputting highly sensitive personal data into AI systems unless necessary and handled with appropriate safeguards. By engaging Resumella’s services, clients consent to this limited and supervised use of AI tools.

9. Intellectual Property

• All resume templates, designs, cover letter formats, or any other materials created by Resumella remain the intellectual property of the company. Clients are granted a non-exclusive, single-use license for the final deliverables, not to be distributed or resold.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Resumella is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to employment decisions made by clients or third parties.

• Resumella is not to be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to personal or medical issues, technical issues, or client delays.

11. Refund Policy

• Refunds are not provided for services already rendered or once work has commenced.

• In the event that a client wishes to cancel a service or services prior to an initial career mapping meeting, a full refund will be issued. Once career mapping meeting has taken place, a partial refund may be issued - deducting £80 and an additional administrative fee. Once work has been commenced on only a specific service ie. CV writing, a refund will be issued for work that has not begun such as LinkedIn profile, cover letter, and/or interview prep, minus administrative and bank processing fees.

12. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services will be resolved through negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled under the laws of England.

13. Amendments

• Resumella reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
