Resumella – Career Strategy & Job Search Services
Effective Date: 1 Jan. 2023
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Resumella (“Resumella”, “we”, “us”) to you (“Client”, “you”).
By purchasing or using any Resumella service, you agree to be bound to the following Terms of Service and use.
1. Services
Resumella provides professional career strategy and job search support services, including but not limited to:
Career path coaching
CV writing and optimisation
Resume review
LinkedIn review
LinkedIn profile optimisation
Career profile / pitch decks
Interview preparation and coaching
Job search strategy and support
Job sourcing and outreach assistance
Structured job search partnership programmes
All services are tailored to the Client based on information provided during discovery calls, career mapping sessions, coaching sessions, CVs, LinkedIn profile content and written correspondence.
Resumella provides strategic advisory services only and does not operate as an employment agency or recruitment firm.

2. Service Scope
The scope of each service is limited to what is expressly included at the time of purchase or agreed in writing.
A. Job Search Accelerator
Where purchased, this may include:
One (1) career mapping session (approximately 60 minutes)
Full CV rewrite based on positioning and target roles
LinkedIn profile optimisation (Headline, About, and Experience sections). Delivered via document unless profile editing is separately agreed.
One CV draft walkthrough session (approximately 30 minutes)
Job search strategy coaching session (approximately 60 minutes)
Job search resources, templates, and guidance materials
Unless otherwise agreed:
The CV provided is one primary master version.
Re-tailoring to specific job descriptions is not included unless purchased separately.
Up to two rounds of revisions apply to written deliverables.
Note: Services are advisory and do not include job applications or outreach conducted on behalf of the client. Clients are responsible for implementing all recommendations.
B. CV Rebuild (Strategic Positioning)
Where purchased, this service may include:
One (1) career mapping session (approximately 60 minutes)
Full CV rewrite based on positioning and target roles
New CV draft walkthrough and positioning review session (approximately 30 minutes)
Deliverables:
Final CV document
Note:
This service does not include LinkedIn optimisation
This service does not include job search strategy or application support
The CV provided is one primary master version
C. Premium Interview Coaching
Where purchased, this structured programme may include:
One career mapping & positioning assessment session (60 mins)
One interview strategy session (approximately 30 minutes)
Two mock interview simulations ( 60 minutes each)
Verbal and/or written feedback
Interview coaching provides preparation guidance only.
Mock interviews are simulations and do not replicate actual employer processes.
No guarantee is provided regarding interview outcomes, progression, or offers.
D. Career Path Coaching
Phase 1 – Strategic Career Direction
May include structured sessions, reflection, career analysis, and a professional recommendation regarding suitable career paths.
The outcome is advisory in nature. The Client retains full responsibility for final career decisions.
Agreement with recommendations is not guaranteed. Disagreement does not constitute grounds for refund.
Phase 2 – Career Branding & Transition (if purchased separately)
May include:
Professional branding materials (CV, LinkedIn Makeover)
Bonus 60 Min Job search strategy session & coaching
Support begins on the agreed commencement date and does not roll over if unused.
E. 360 Job Search Support (30 Day Programme)
Where purchased, this may include:
Weekly check-in meeting (up to 30 minutes unless otherwise agreed)
Approximately 8 hours of job sourcing per month
Up to 10 outreach attempts per month
Application review and prioritisation guidance
Messaging support during business days
“Real-time” or messaging support means reasonable response times during business hours (Monday–Friday, UK time). It does not imply 24/7 availability and does not include holidays.
Outreach attempts are best-effort only and do not guarantee response, referral, interview, or employment.
Unused time does not carry forward, unless agreed otherwise.
F. 60 Minute CV / LinkedIn Review Sessions
Where purchased, this service consists of:
One (1) live session (approximately 60 minutes) conducted via video call
A structured, section-by-section review of the Client’s CV or LinkedIn profile
Verbal feedback, guidance, and recommendations provided during the session
This service is an advisory audit and does NOT include:
Written feedback or follow-up reports
Direct editing or rewriting of documents
Ongoing support beyond the session
Clients are responsible for implementing any recommended changes following the session.
The session may be recorded upon request. Where a recording is provided, it is for personal use only and must not be shared, distributed, or reused commercially. Recording will be available via a link for 30 days.
G. Quick Consultation (30-Min Session)
Where purchased, this service consists of:
One (1) 30-minute session focused on specific questions or topics
This service includes:
Verbal guidance and recommendations only
This service does not include:
In-depth document review
Written deliverables
Follow-up support

3. Service Scope Limitations
Each service includes the specific deliverables outlined at the time of purchase.
Revisions, messaging support, and meeting time are provided within the scope of the selected service package. If additional work, extended support, or further revisions are required beyond what is included, this can be arranged separately and may involve an additional fee.
Resumella provides career strategy and coaching services. We do not provide legal advice, salary negotiation representation, or recruitment/placement services.
Additional work outside agreed scope may incur additional fees.

4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their career history, skills, personal strengths, preferences, and qualifications to ensure high quality and relevance of the services provided.
Clients also understand that it is their responsibility to:
Respond to requests for clarification in a timely manner, review drafts and provide feedback within agreed timeframes.
Take full responsibility for all career decisions and actions taken.
Resumella is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.
Any delay in providing required information, revision requests, or feedback, may affect turnaround time.

5. Payment Terms
Full payment is required upfront for all services unless otherwise agreed upon.
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice.
Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, as services are customised and involve significant time and effort. This is subject to applicable consumer rights under UK law.
Services are considered to have commenced once:
A scheduled session has taken place;
Drafting or research work has begun; or
Strategic analysis has started.

6. Revisions
Resumella offers up to 2 revisions for resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles to ensure client satisfaction. Revision requests are to be provided within 7 business days of receipt of the initial draft/document, unless agreed otherwise, or may be delayed due to unique personal circumstances. Once the client has accepted the final version (of any document), any additional revisions thereafter may incur extra fees, unless agreed otherwise.
Revisions apply to refinement of agreed positioning, not to fundamental changes in career direction or strategy.
Review sessions (CV or LinkedIn reviews conducted live) do not include revisions or follow-up reviews. Any additional sessions must be booked separately.

7. Delivery Timelines
Turnaround times do not include Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
CV drafts: 5-7 business days from the career mapping meeting
LinkedIn makeover drafts: approximately additional 3 business days after CV confirmation .
Career paths analysis: approximately 7-14 business days.
Timelines begin once all requested information has been received.
Delays may occur due to illness, holidays, or any personal or unforeseen circumstance. Notice will be provided where reasonably possible.
Expedited services may be available for an additional fee.
Note that timelines and deliverables depend on the client providing any requested information promptly.

8. No Guarantee of Employment
Resumella does not guarantee:
Interviews
Job offers
Career transitions
Salary increases
Recruiter engagement
Referral success
Hiring decisions are made solely by third parties and remain outside our control.
Services are designed to improve clarity, positioning, and competitiveness , not to secure guaranteed outcomes.

9. Cancellation & Refunds
This clause complies with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
14-Day Cancellation Right
If you purchase services online, you have a statutory 14-day cancellation period.
If you request that services begin within that 14-day period, you acknowledge:
That work may commence immediately;
That your right to a full refund is lost once services have been fully performed;
That you are liable to pay for work completed up to the date of cancellation.
After Services Commence Refunds are not provided for:
Completed sessions
Delivered written work
Completed strategic analysis
Active support periods once commenced
Where cancellation occurs before work has commenced, a full refund will be issued.
Where partial work has been completed, a proportionate refund may be issued at Resumella’s discretion, deducting:
Time already delivered
Administrative costs
Payment processing fees
Disagreement with professional recommendations does not constitute grounds for refund.
For live review sessions (including CV or LinkedIn reviews), cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are non-refundable. Once a session has taken place, no refund will be issued, as the service is considered fully delivered.

10. Confidentiality
Resumella respects client confidentiality and will not share any personal or career-related information without consent, except where required by law.
LinkedIn profile optimisation will be delivered via a shared Google Document with detailed instructions for the client on uploading the content into the relevant fields. In the event that a client wishes to have his/her LinkedIn profile edited by Resumella, this will be done for an additional fee. Clients are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials for LinkedIn and other platforms in the event that they choose to provide these with us for service delivery. It is recommended to change any password shared with resumella once the service term has ended.

11. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Resumella may use AI-assisted tools support research, drafting, editing, or formatting.
All AI-assisted outputs are reviewed, edited, refined, and finalised by Resumella, and AI tools do not replace the professional judgement, expertise, or personalised methodology applied to each client project.
Reasonable steps are taken to protect confidentiality. Clients acknowledge that final deliverables reflect a combination of professional expertise and supervised AI assistance.
By engaging with Resumella’s services, clients consent to this limited and supervised use of AI tools.

12. Intellectual Property
All templates, methodologies, materials, frameworks, and documents remain the intellectual property of Resumella.
Clients are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the final deliverables for their own professional purposes only.
Materials may not be resold, reproduced, distributed, or shared commercially without written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Resumella is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to employment decisions made by clients or third parties.
Resumella is not to be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to personal or medical issues, technical issues, or client delays.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resumella shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential loss
Loss of earnings
Loss of opportunity
Career decisions made by the Client
Actions or decisions of third parties
Total liability shall not exceed the total fee paid for the relevant service.

14. Dispute Resolution
The parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation.
If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed and settled under the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Amendments
Resumella reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated Terms apply to purchases made after publication.
Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website
